This study was conducted to present data collected from various regions in Jejudo Island and to establish a more accurate academic foundation by identifying through base sequence analysis, and to organize and consider the list of mushrooms reported to date in Jejudo Island. The investigation was performed for five years from 2019 to 2023 in a total of 9 sites in Jejudo Island, then the collected mushrooms were identified by morphological characteristics and DNA sequence analysis. A total of 754 mushrooms were collected through the investigation, 484 mushrooms of them matched morphological identification and DNA sequence analysis. These mushrooms were classified into 6 classes, 18 orders, 56 families, 120 genera, 206 species, 390 specimens and 94 unclassified species (sp.) which species was not exactly known. As a result, through this study, 90 species that had never been reported on Jeju Island were newly recorded, and the mushrooms reported on Jejudo Island to date were compiled into 7 classes, 26 orders, 123 families, 400 genera, 1,101 species. This research was financially supported by Jeju Technopark through Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
